The Big Pastry Castle Bakery and Café is located at the corner of McDermot Ave. and Arthur Street in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District. A short walk from Portage & Main and within eyesight of Old Market Square. It is our community, and it is vibrant.
This city was once the last big settlement on Canada's western frontier. A bustling building boom graced the area with a wonderful collection of buildings.
Basically, it is the place to be in Winnipeg. The heart of the city's creative community and the cooler part of the business district. It is a place to work and a place to meet.
In addition to getting work done, The Exchange is home to most of the city's theatres and performing arts.
Pastry Castle is the perfect spot for a quick morning java, a good lunch, client meeting or even a delicious dessert before or after a show. And don't forget to take a few treats back to those at home or the office!

The Pastry Castle is just minutes from most places in downtown Winnipeg. We provide comfortable seating, including some couches! If you're in a rush, you are welcome to ask for anything as take-away. You can even call ahead (254-6778) to pre-order. And we can cater your next meeting or function, with delivery of course.

Pastry Castle expands to Lakewood Plaza!
Our new second location is being worked on right now, and we hope to open in the summer of 2008, in Lakewood Plaza. Helen and the staff there will serve up the same great coffees and more, favourite items from our menu and selections of our delicious desserts, plus gelati and smoothies. More details to follow! |
