Split Pea Soup
Ingredients:
2 lb. ham, cubed
3 qt. boiling water
2 carrots, sliced
1 chopped onion
2 potatoes. diced
1 cup split peas
salt & pepper
2 tbs. catsup
Preparation:
Soak split peas overnight. Put the ham, carrots, onion, potatoes, split peas in a large pot with 3 qt. boiling water. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add salt, pepper, & catsup. Simmer for 10 minutes.
