Cream of Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
| 1 quart milk |
1 pint tomatoes |
| 2 tbs. plain flour |
2 tbs. Canola oil |
| 1/4 tsp. soda |
1/2 tsp. salt |
| 1/4 tsp. black pepper |
1 tsp. sugar |
Preparation:
Make a white sauce of milk, oil, & flour. Puree tomatoes in
blender. Add soda to tomatoes. Add tomatoes to white
sauce. Add sugar, salt, & pepper. Simmer over low heat
for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. |
